God created us according to his own image so that we might have an abundant life. He did not make us to be robots that love and obey him automatically. God has given us willingness and freedom of choice. Human beings ever since the disobedience of Adam and Eve chose to disobey God and to follow their own path. This leads to being separated from God.
The Bible says, «For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.» (Romans 3:23)
«For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.» (Romans 6:23)
«But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.» (Isaiah 59:2)
Jesus Christ died on the cross and was raised from among the dead. He paid the price for our sin and built a bridge over the abyss that separates man from God.
The Bible says, «For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.» (Timothy 2:5)
«Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.» (1 Peter 3:18)
«But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.» (Romans 5:8)
By accepting Jesus as saviour and Lord over our life, we receive him and invite him personally to come into our life. And a miracle takes place; we are then born from God’s family through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit. This is what is called being «born again.» And at this very moment, we can be called «children of God.»
The Bible says, «There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, ‘Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him.’ In reply Jesus declared, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.’ ‘How can a man be born when he is old?’ Nicodemus asked. ‘Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.’»(John 3:1-6)
«Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.» (John 1:12)
«That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.» (Romans 10:9)
Now, if you want to receive God’s forgiveness and become his child, I invite you to make with prayer with all you heart:
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus. I ask you to forgive all my sins. I accept that Jesus died on the cross for all my sins and that he was raised to grant me eternal life. Lord Jesus, come into my heart and may your Spirit testify to my spirit that I am now a child of God. Amen
« Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.» (Romans 10:13)
« «For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.» (Ephesians 2:8-9)
« «He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.» (1 John 5:12-13)
Now I encourage you not to remain alone so you can deepen your relationship with Jesus. This seed which now dwells within you must be nourished. Here is what is important:
-Get a Bible and read a passage everyday
-Speak with God everyday through prayer
-Speak of Jesus to those who surround you
-Join a church in order to gather in family to sing praises, hear the Word, and pray together. It is important to make sure the pastors of that church preach the Word of God and only the Word of God.
This is the greatest and most beautiful choice of your life.
May Jesus grant you revelation upon revelation of who He is and I pray that He bless you with his enormous love.
May God keep you preciously,
With all my love in Jesus,
